Started making custom bodies this spring and had this vision of a weathered bass that looked more like a bar top. Soaked and weathered and beaten, I matched the pine and oak to that, added a hand painted rose, weathered that too for good luck, before I gave this a nice relic finish.
Neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard, hardware is black with a single Wilkinson J Bass pickup running to a volume and tone setup. Super simple and clean, and if you even take a peak at the back, you can see one of my first major mistakes and recovery in building bodies!
Due to the handmade and custom nature of the product, small blemishes and defects in the topcoat may be present.
